RAGS_CC_GET_LAST_USAGE - force new start date

Hi All

 

I have a scenario where I have 365 days of UPL data extracted into my CCLM. There was no previous last used date calculated and held within tables AGS_CC_LAST_USG or AGS_CC_USAGE.  Therefore, the program RAGS_CC_GET_LAST_USAGE run via the job SM_CCL:LUSG_<SID>_<INSTALLATION_NUMBER> has calculated the start date from the AGS_CC_EXTRACTOR table, setting it to sy-datum -3.

 

However, what I really need is to reset this date to last year.  Currently I am thinking that I will have to somehow remove all the data for the SID in question, apart from one row with a last used date of the date I require.

 

Anyone else have this issue and found a better solution?

Active implementation of BADI TRIP_POST_FI is not triggering.

Hi Experts

 

I implemented badi TRIP_POST_FI .

I provided the filter value , wrote custom code in MODIFY_PTRV_DOC_IT method as per requirement and activated the implementation.

now when I am posting my document via T-code PRRW this implementation is not called.

 

For checking if BADI implementation is called or not I am creating debugger break point in modified method.

system is not stopping at break point .is there any other way to check?

 

Can you help me understand why this implementation is not getting called.

HCM - Restrict matchcodes allowed with HR report category

Hello,

 

I am using LDB PNPCE for a custom report and need to restrict the matchcode allowed for PNPPERNR to PREMP.  Is this something that can be done in the report category or does it need to be done in the ABAP or is it not possible?

CCLM facing "service cannot be reached" error but don't know which service should be actiavated.

Dear Mr. /Ms,

 

In my test solman system (SP12), I tired to use CCLM transaction. It opened the website for the service. But in the "overview" of it, it shows "service cannot be reached" error. I assume some service was not activated. But I don't know which is it. 2014-9-11 13-58-32.png

By the way, mine solman is SP12, but as discribe in note 1547234, the attachment of it only provides untill SP10. I used this to upload the library ot it and it seems to be work. Is this OK?

Custom Code Management

Hello everyone!!!!

 

I am trying to configure  CCM using solman(SS1) for R/3 system(RS1).During configuration process i do have some errors.Could someone help me out.

 

1) In the step 6.2 i am unable to activate SQLM extractor(error:SQLM extractor template does not exist). Rest of the extractors(CC Gen,CC Ref,UPL,CCLM,CC Similarity,ATC) are activated Successfully.

 

2)How to check activated extractors are functioning good?

 

3)In the step 7.2 SM_CCL:LUSG_XX_XXXX and SM_CCL_QUAL_XX_XXXX Jobs failed(Error: SM_CCL:LUSG_XX_XXXX was aborted ) same error with QUAL.

From  the job log reason for job failure for QUAL  is "No Data found in Custom Objects InfoCube (0SM_ATC) for system XXX"  and for LUSG is " No Data found in Custom Objects InfoCube (0SM_UPL) for system XXX".

 

4)In the step 8.4 even though i scheduled the job "SM:AGS_CC_BUSI_CRIT_XXX" it is still showing Gray symbol instead of green.

 

5)  From my knowledge we need to configure ATC on RS1. if that rite,what would be the values in "master system". and how to cross check ATC configuration is successful.

 

Actually all ATC,CCLM,SQLM,UPL cubes are active on my SS1 system.

UPL Activated in Managed Systems - Now What?

Hi All,

 

First post for me in the UPL SCN. I believe I have correctly activated UPL data collection in our managed ABAP Systems. (Followed this link to do so: https://websmp104.sap-ag.de/~sapidb1000358700000427102012E)

 

I can run the sa38 report /SDF/UPL_CONTROL and it shows that is in on and working. Also report /SDF/SHOW_UPL will show me a bunch of returned data when I click execute. (these are being ran on the abap systems themselves).

 

My question is, now what? Where do I go inside solution manager to begin seeing if this data is being stored in the SolMan BW? Any insight, work center locations, reports or anything else will help.

Analysis jobs in the managed system for CCLM does not run properly

Hi All,

 

As a part of CCLM configuration we have scheduled Analysis jobs to run in the managed system.

UPL jobs is running successfully.

But 2 jobs, Custom code Refrences and Custom code Similarity though indicates the job is finished successfully, the results are not as expected.

 

Below is the initial analysis carried out by me where i could not identify the cause of the issue.

Did anyone face same issues?

Initial Analysis:

 

We  are configuring CCLM in solution manager SOD system, client 100

In step 6.3, Schedule Analysis Jobs, we have scheduled analysis jobs in PDS (managed) system and client 801

But the jobs don’t run correctly.

  1. Job /SDF/CC_REFERENCES

 

Job shows that it is completed successful but the job log mentions error

 

Job log does not indicate that the job completed successfully. This is misleading.

Could not find any note the SAP Market place with similar error.

 

Can you please advise on removing the error?

 

  1. Job EFWK ANALYSIS JOB FOR SIMILARITY completes successfully

There exists data in managed system PDS

But, if we check for the similarity details, in SOD:100 using report RAGS_CC_REPORTING, the result contains no data.

Number of records found ‘0’

Extractor for custom code similarity is also active

But looks like no data is fetched into solution manager SOD.

Can anyone please check and advise.

EFWK ATC extractor fails

HI Everybody,

I have worked a lot in order to sort out Quality data extractor for CCLM but I´m getting stuck when Extractor Framework is collecting results / metrics of ATC from managed systems.

 

EFWK always shows an error in Dataloader phase when this tries to fill out 0SM_STC Infocube. See below the screenshot.

I noticed also this error generates a dump TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED when Data loader SMD_DATA_LOADER100 is trying to update 0SM_ATC cube. See enclosed file.

 

Did you experienced something similar when EFWK is getting data from managed systems?

I´m not sure if the reason is because of the amount of data to extract, but in any case, I don´t think my system resources at the time of this error are quite low than what we would expect for a regular Solman system.

 

Thanks for your time and let me know if this is the right place to address my question of It would be better to open a OSS note.

Quality collector job fails inspite of extractor fetching the data successfully

Hi,

 

Quality collector job fails on 'DVS' (managed system) inspite of extractor fetching the data successfully.

Currently Solution manager in use is Solution Manager 'SOP' 7.1 SP12

 

All the RTCCTOOL recommendations are applied on SOP & DVS. ST-PI is on 2008_1_700 SP11 on both the systems. ST-BCO component in on SP11.

As a part of trouble shooting, the extractor run for ATC & ATC exemptions are monitored.

The extractor run is successfull. Also Master run for ATC is successfully completed.

SEA analysis failed - no custom code data 0SM_CCLG

Hello,

 

We are launching SEA analysis on our solution maanger system in order to analyze upgrade impact of ECC system.

Nevertheless, the analysis always failed in error as you can see below:

In SLG1 we have the following error:

We checked in SOLMAN_SETUP -> Custom Code Management part -> activity 6.2 Activate Extractors -> CC GEN extractor already activated for development system BOD.


We also checked in workcenter “SAP Solution Manager Administration” -> Infrastructure -> the corresponding extractor is “Custom Code Object Extractor” and is active:

In RSA1, the infocube 0SM_CCLG has data.

 

Issue: the data are collected in infocube, extractor is activated and SEA analysis is in error. Each time we have this issue we re-activate extractor framework as shown and when extractor has terminated we launch again SEA analysis and then it works, we do not have issue anymore.

The problem is that if the day after we want to launch a new SEA analysis, it will be stopped with the same error and we will have to re-activate extractor again, which is not the expected behavior as data are already collected and should be there for new analysis without having to manually re-activate extractors.


Does anyone already encountered this kinf of issue?

Problem Overview CCLM "no data"

Hello,

 

We are implementing CCLM on Solman SP13.

We followed the configuration guide, all extractors are working fine and we do not have any authorization issues.

When we launch transaction "CCLM", we do not have any data on the "overview" part.

All other parts (library, decommissioning...) are showing data correctly.

We are using IE 10 or 11 and we also tried with chrome and firefox but the issue remains.

Do you have any idea where this problem could come from?

CDMC statistic collection activation - UPL deactivated error

Hi,

 

I am trying to activate the statistic collection in CDMC for my staging system through Solman, but one of my system showing below error " UPL Deactivated" .

So i am trying to activate the UPL from CCLM setup in solution manager, but UPL & ATC option are greyed out.

Also i checked the  note1922412  UPL extractor flag fix for this fix, but this note shows " Cannot be implemented" status.

 

Currently i am using SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SP12 version.

ATC not checking code in user exit includes

Dear Friends,

 

I'm not sure if you have faced this issue, but I have not found anyone or any post or any document or any OSS note talking about it.

 

I've recently have realized than when using ATC for checking the custom code of an Z include it was finding cero errors when it was actually full of them.

 

In fact using code inspector, the errors where found. It was not an issue of using a different variant, this was checked, CI and ATC are using the same,

 

The issue itself was clear: When the ATC checks a parent object its checks the code of its includes. If you try to check an include directly with ATC, it is ignored with message "No checks are available for the objects types", giving the chance to "add master program" so it will be checked when the master program is checked with all its includes. Last, ATC neither Code Inspector checks custom code.

 

The end result is that when trying to check the code in a user exit include with ATC it does not find any error.

 

I can think about encapsulating the code found in a user exits but this is a titanic task.

 

The main problem is that the jobs for getting in CCLM the quality required massive ATC runs that will not catch the errors in these kind of objects.

 

Have you face this issue? do you have any recommendation?

 

I would like your opinion before raising this as customer message, as from my point of this this may require a SAP correction.

There is no app which can be added to this dashboard

Hi All,

 

When i am trying to add Custom Code App in solution manager, i get an error 'There is no app which can be added to this dashboard'. I could not find any info on how to fix this error.

Does you have any idea on this error?

CCLM doesn't take into account my system data ?

Hi all,

 

I try to configure the CCLM tool on our Solman (7.1 SP12).

 

In order to display the Quality measures IN CCLM, i've activated ATC tool.

My current active run contains several errors, but in CCLM tool I only the last active run (with only 1 error).

All extractors are correctly set-up.

Why CCLM doesn't take into account the ATC result ?

As you can see, i've also problem with Custom Code counter (at the left top of the screen).

 

Last question about Criticality health factor. Extractor generates an error :

Unused custom object - is it really so bad?

Hello, collegues.

 

I am curious about unused custom objects - is it really so bad to have several (or many) Z objects which are not used?

Yes, we can face challenges in upgrade project - when we have to modify/adapt Z code to new upgraded SAP standard object. But Clearing Analysis and UPL can solve this issue. When we have used/unused list of our Z objects we can no longer focus on code we don't need.

It doesn't executes, footprints isn't big at all (regarding PROG and FUNC). And as far as I know we don't need to feed Z code (smile).

So the question is quite simple and clear - how can unused PROG and FUNC affect SAP system?

What do you think?

Hi All,

 

Currently i am working in ATC setup in Solution manager, I have checked the below blogs for the same.

 

Getting Started with the ABAP Test Cockpit for QMs and Admins

 

 

Completed the CCLM setup for required managed systems and activated ATC extractor.

 

I have below quires to push the ATC details option

 

1. Whether i need to execute the ATC t.code in Solution manager system or managed system or both.

2.  Which System ID is need to maintain in the master system

3. What is the RFC ( TMW or Trusted or needs to created new RFC)
